Overview: Are you an Accounts Payable professional looking to lead your own AP team? If so, Coborn’s Inc.
has an exciting opportunity that will allow you to showcase your accounting skills and elevate your leadership style! As the Accounts Payable Supervisor, you will provide leadership and direction to 8 Accounts Payable professionals while coaching, training, and developing, and elevating the skills of each team member.
You will be responsible for the day-to-day administration of Accounts Payable operational processes, leading the month-end close process, ensuring cutoffs and deadlines are met and the monthly results are accurate.

Assigns vendors and stores, keeps statistics of transactional workloads, and maintains error logs.
Oversee workloads, assign balanced distribution of work on the team, and lead the monthly Accounts Payable close processes.
Develop a culture of recognition, accountability, coaching for talent development, and urgency.
Partner with the Accounts Payable Manager and Human Resources to hire, develop and retain top talent, as well as address employee relations issues.
They will train, coach and mentor on how to engage the team and drive quality products through executional excellence and a high level of productivity.
Serves as knowledge expert for Accounts Payable transactional processes.
Bring expertise of Accounts Payable to company projects as an advisor, coordinates testing and training of new processes with staff.
Create and maintain department standard operating procedures and training guides; deliver and train team and store personnel as needed.
Continually looking for areas of improvement for accuracy and transactional efficiencies.
Responsible day-to-day functions for the accounts payable team, which includes but is not limited to expense invoice processing, wholesaler statements, reviewing and coding CAR invoices, reconciling wholesaler statements with payment detail checking for inaccuracies and inconsistencies, monitor team email boxes for compliance with timely responses, completes daily check of import log, following up with any issues and performs daily batch error checking.
Manage vendor payment processing to include daily automated clearing house payments and scheduled check runs.
Ensures timely payments of invoices and maintains accurate records and control reports.
Requirements: EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE Bachelor’s degree in accounting and two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Computer Skills Working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite and email systems.
Working knowledge of General Ledger and Accounts Payable Systems.
