Human Resources Specialist

Forsman Farms is seeking a Human Resouces Specialist to join the Human Resources team.
The HR Specialist is the first point of contact for employee questions and supports various employee programs within the organization, including recruitment, employee records, administering benefits, and FMLA.
Responsibilities: * Coordinate new employee hiring process, including job postings, communicating with candidates, running background checks, and preparing employee files.
* Prepare reports as needed.
* Coordinate new hire and annual benefits enrollment.
* Administer FMLA and short-term disability.
* Maintain HRIS and employee records.
* Employment verifications.
* Other duties as assigned.
Requirements: * Previous Human Resources experience preferred, but not required * Previous administrative experience preferred * Bilingual English and Spanish preferred * Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
* Excellent organizational skills.
* Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks.
* Ability to maintain confidential information.
* Ability to work independently.
