*Summary:*
The HR Assistant will provide administrative support to the HR department and assist with various HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee records management, benefits administration, and HR communications.
*Primary Responsibilities:*
* Post job openings on various social media platforms and websites.
* Coordinate new hire paperwork and facilitate the onboarding process for new employees.
* Assist in conducting orientation sessions to introduce new hires to company policies, benefits, and facilities.
* Utilize company HR Information Systems.
* Maintain and update employee records, including personal information, attendance, and performance evaluations.
* Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and confidentiality policies.
* Attending and promoting Recovering Hope at Job Fairs and colleges.
* Maintain all forms up to date and represent our brand.
* Support benefits administration tasks such as enrollment, changes, and terminations.
* Workers comp claims and OSHA tracking.
* Developing and personalizing the HR/ Payroll system to streamline processes.
* Be a part of creating, expanding, streamlining the process from recruiting through to employee retention.
* Help organize employee events or initiatives to promote engagement and a positive work culture.
*Qualifications:*
*Required*
* High school diploma or GED.
* Valid Driver’s License
* Must be at least 18 years of age per licensure requirements pertaining to residential facilities.
* Ability to utilize and navigate printers, office technology, computers, laptops, and/or tablets.
*Preferred*
* 1-2 years of post high school education in Human Resources or related fields.
* Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
* Proficient in Google Drive, Sheets, and Docs.
*Physical Requirements:*
* Frequently communicate with employees, community members, clients and other individuals with key relationships.
This requires receiving and providing accurate information in writing or verbally, in these situations.
* Frequently reach above shoulder height to reach necessary items, including supplies, medications, etc.
* Frequently complete repetitive tasks.
* Sit, stand or walk for extended periods of time.
* Lift items up to 60 lbs.
