*Introduction: *Seeking an experienced individual to provide strategic guidance in operations, business development and technology enhancements.
Mother of Mercy Senior Living(MOM), is a non-profit tax-exempt entity based in Albany, Minnesota.
MOM provides area seniors with quality housing and services through 65 licensed nursing home beds, 44 independent and/or assisted living apartments, 39 memory care units, and 65 income qualified apartment units located at nearby Pondview Estates.
MOM has over 200 employees working together on a 24/7 basis to address the housing and service needs of all area seniors.
MOM also provides community outreach services to area seniors through activities, exercise and volunteer programs.
*Business Operations-CFO * is responsible for the integrity of financial records and reports for all Mother of Mercy entities and operations.
Provides strategic guidance in operations, business development and technology.
Perform a variety of business functions such as budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, audit planning and auditors guidance.
*Essential job functions, but not limited to the following*:
* Design financial models to evaluate economic feasibility of existing/new operations, MSHO contracts, etc.
* Organize, direct and supervise business office functions.
* Prepare annual operating budget and guide leaders for MOM operations (NH, AL, & HUD) including MOM-D and new entities.
* Oversee, assess opportunities, direct others to produce grant applications.
* Assist Administrator with banking relationships and investments, inclusive of cash management recommendations.
* Provide monthly financial reports and summaries with analytics to Administrator for Board packages, and presentations to Board of Directors.
* Manage office functions to support management of the business and all departments.
* Design models, develop analytics, present results for auditors, quality assurance, surveyors, government associations, Board, etc.
* Analyze cost data and revenue opportunities from finance perspective and provide reports and recommendations to Administrator.
* Ensure properly and timely filings with tax, financial institutions, and government agencies (SAM, HUD).
* Oversee and assist in technology needs and issues.
* Enforce policies and procedures in absence of Administrator.
* Provide work direction to Administrative Assistant.
* *Job Requirements:*
* Bachelor’s Degree in accounting, finance, and CPA.
* Five years healthcare accounting or audit experience.
LTC experience a plus.
* Working knowledge of business valuation/development, technology and cash management.
* Experience in performance management and effective leadership
* Must meet all regulatory standards, be willing to participate in pre-screening tests, background investigations, reference checks and interview process.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $75,000.
