The HR Coordinator provides technical and administrative support for the Human Resource and Payroll departments and supports all company locations with timely and accurate processing of transactional items.
The HR Coordinator is the primary recipient of the HR team email account, HR2 and monitors all incoming emails, routing to others on the HR or Payroll teams as appropriate.
Transactional items include but are not limited to daily accurate data entry of associate records into HRIS and Payroll systems.
Knowledge of and compliance with HR and Payroll forms such as the Form I-9, and State and Federal W4’s is critical.
Acts as the point of contact for HRIS end users to unlock user accounts and/or troubleshoot log in errors when needed.
Additionally, the HR Coordinator will assist with the recruitment process, posting job openings, conducting phone screens, reference checks, and driving the onboarding process for new Sand and Hotel Associates as needed.
Assist in scheduling and presenting office orientations to new associates.
To ensure leadership visibility of hiring needs, a recruitment update will be completed for both Sand and Hotels and emailed to leadership groups bi-weekly.
Monitoring and sending monthly performance review reminder notifications to all Sand and Hotel Managers.
Assisting with completion of the Sand on Demand monthly newsletter.
Additionally, the HR Coordinator provides support with unemployment requests for information, maintains associate files and records maintenance, provides administrative support for the front desk and may be asked to assist on special projects such as compliance and regulatory work.
